Her eyes were shut tightly, tears dripping onto the dirt.

"I was selfish....I made the worst choice.. I should've tried to save him..." She said, her voice cracking.

Forgiving one's self is always the hardest thing.

Her words didn't entirely make sense.

"I can't...I can never fix it. I can't bring him back...I can't go back a chance my choice. If I could...I would and I'd do the right thing...I'd save him even if it cost me everything." She said.

"Paige..." Minoushje started as she walked towards her. "I won't tell you to forget what happened or that you have to learn to accept what happened, because you can't... trust me, I know that's impossible. However you'll have to understand that back then you only did what you were told to do..."

She kneeled down in front of the younger girl.
"it sounds harsh but that's the life of a shinobi... we all do something that we can never forget... something we regret. But Time's unforgiving and you can't go back, you can't change what you did."

From behind her shirt she took a necklace. It was a precious stone shaped in the form of an angel.
"All you can do is give it a place, hope God forgives you and continue living... that's what I did."
She wasn't going to tell them what happened, unless they would ask, which she hoped they wouldn't do.

((I don't know if people are very religious in Naruto-land, I guess so cause it's suppose to be based on ancient Japan... in history God was almost always important to humans))

She girl's eyes stared at the ground as if seachering for something. "Minoushje..I didn't...do it because I was told to.. I did it...because of selfish reasons. I had a plan in my head to save him...but I didn't. I thought only of myself."
