He walked back inside and laid her gently on the couch, kissing her once more before ruffling her hair and leaning back into an armchair, gazing at the brunette curiously.

The girl snuggled into the softness of the couch, a dream forming.

Said dream started off pretty normal but then she realized what it was. She was going through the entire day of when she'd done that clan based mission. It was the day she'd never forget and always bet herself up over.

She wanted to wake up but at the same time she didn't. She didn't want to see what she had done, but she felt like she had to because she'd made that mistake.

A few tears escaped her closed eyes and trickled down her face.

Dei sat up with concern, immediately wiping the tears. "Paige, it's okay... it's okay, yeah," he crooned gently, cradling her head in his lap.

The girl continued to dream, wanting to wake up more than ever now, but that small part of her that insisted she needed to relive her mistake, despite what Mino and Zen had said to her, is what kept her there.

While she slept she continuously mumbled "I'm sorry" while her hands clutched to Deidara's cloak.

He was worried; was she in pain? Should he wake her up? He continued to stroke her hair and curled it around her ears, murmuring comforts to her.

The girl finally was able to wake up and blinked a few times. She took in the familiar scent of his cloak and burried her face deep into it.

His eyes softened as she gripped his cloak and rubbed her face against his chest, almost like a child. "Mm... did you have a bad dream?" he murmured, pulling her up into his lap.
