MISSION #1 - Spyin' on dem Akatsuki

Kirai peered around the area, hiding her chakra just in case. Turning to Paige, she said, "So we spy on the Akatsuki and get back to Roy-sama ASAP...But I don't see any around here..."

Kirai nodded in agreement, "Could they have possibly already started moving in?...No, Roy-sama would've informed us and we would have made plans to stop them...So where could they be?"

Paige's ears caught a sound. She couldn't make it out but she knew it was there.

She payed careful attention from then on to make sure that they wouldn't be taken by surprise.

A sudden cloud of smoke surrounds Paige and Kirai. Coughing is heard and the smoke clears to reveal a sheepish looking Kirai, "Sorry Paige-san~ I was fiddling with a smoke bomb and it went off. Eheh..." The two start talking.

A little ways off, behind Zetsu...are...Paige and Kirai?
Kirai has Paige by the hand and puts a finger to her mouth, "Sh. Those over there are my chakra clones." She points to the other Paige and Kirai. "I sensed a presence and decided to do this."

Kirai peered through the trees to the back of Zetsu's head, shuddering, "Never liked Zetsu...He was creepy. But hopefully, we can get some info from him..."

Kirai nodded, "...Especially when drunk..."

She looked around, "Zetsu can't be the only one here...There's usually a few of them left at the base..."

Kirai tapped her fingeres against the trunk of the tree frustratingly, "Where are they all? I'm sending Roy-sama a note." She made a small chakra bird and wrote a note, sending it off to the HMA, "Let's see what she wants us to do."

The chakra bird came back, landing on the red-head's shoulder. Kirai took the note on it's back and read it, "Hmm, huh..." She truned to Paige, "It seems we can go back, Roy-sama's talking to Pein himself now..." She glanced at Zetsu again, "He doesn't seem to be doing anything anyways...'

Kirai sweatdropped, agreeing with Paige, "I thought we'd at least get some info." She looked back at Zetsu one last time, "...But he's just...standing there..."

"Yea, it's kind of strange." Paige relpied.

"Seems like he's waiting for something."

Kirai nodded thoughtfully, "Maybe...But we can't possibly wait around for Jashin knows how long..."
