Kiba was wandering around his kitchen, opening every cupboard in search of some jerky.

"Hello, anyone home?" Minoushje calls after knocking on the door. She came here for two reasons... reason one: to apologize, reason two: to gain some information.

"In the kitchen!" he yelled. "Who is it?"

Akamaru suddenly rounded the corner and leapt up on Mino.

With an "oohpf!" Minoushje fell to the ground.
"It's M-Minoushje." She managed to call while avoiding Akamaru's tongue. "C-could you please call him back... H-he's kind of heavy... I-it's kind of d-difficult to talk!!"

Now all she could hope for was that he wasn't out for revenge for what happened in the river.

"Akamaru!" Kiba whistled for his nin-dog who bounded back to his master.

"Oh, hey, Minoushje. What's up?" If he was upset about the river, he didn't show it.

"Thanks Kiba." Minoushje replied smiling as she got back on her feet. "I... uhh... I wanted to apologize for earlier today. I really didn't mean to offend you or anything, so I brought this as y way to make it up."
She held out the bag that she had been holding the entire time.

((I'll leave it to you what kind of food is in the bag, Kiba seems like the kind of guy who loves his food Very Happy

Kiba looked into the bag and grinned as he saw that there was jerky. "Thanks, Minoushje...I appreciate it. And don't worry about the river," he said with a smile, "All's fair in war."

He motioned to a chair. "Do you want to sit down?

"Yes please." Minoushje said as she followed Kiba to the kitchen. "But I have to admit you were going to be real angry with me for doing what I did."

Minoushje shook her head.
"There was actually something else I wanted to ask you, or it's more that I need your help with something."

"Well, I was wondering... do you think we could convince Shino in going on a blind date?" Minoushje asked smiling.
If anyone would know this it would be Kiba.

Kiba spluttered on the water he was drinking. "Sh-Shino? Maybe if we tricked him....but who would be the girl? No one in Konoha would want to."

"Ah, you met her today by the river... Zen-chan. We were having this girl talk before and she asked me if I knew a nice guy, she said he must be intelligent, serious, not always goofing off and confident... now you try and tell me that doesn't sound like Shino."

"That's great~" Minoushje said happily. "How about we let them meet at the Dango Restaurant, it's a bit more romantic than Ichiraku Ramen... you bring Shino, three days from today, at... uhh... let's say seven and I'll make sure Zen is there."

"I'm home!!" Someone called from the front door.
A few moments later Hana walked in the kitchen.
"Mino-chan!! It's been too long."
Minoushje jumped up and hugged her friend.
"Oh I'm so glad someone still remembers me!! Your brother can't even remember I used to be his babysitter." Minoushje looks at Kiba. "And don't pretend you do remember cause I know you don't."

Hana hugged her friend back. "Kiba doesn't remember you? I wonder why...."

"You're guess is as good as mine." Minoushje said while shrugging her shoulders and walking back to Kiba. "But I forgive him anyway, cause he's still as adorable as ever." As she said that she pinched his cheek.

Kiba swatted her hand away in annoyance, after which he rubbed his cheek.
Minoushje just laughed as she sat back down again.

"Maybe you can help us!!" She said while looking at Hana. "You see, we're planning a blind date for two friends and I don't know about Kiba but I have no idea how to lure my friend to Konoha, let alone to the restaurant."

Kiba entered his home by kicking the door open, Zumi's hand still in his.

"So....what do you think?"

The place was actually pretty clean, considering who lived there. Must be his sister's influence.

She glanced around curiously, "It's so nice and spacious!"

Her ears picked up excited barks come from various rooms. "Here comes the pack," she laughed, spotting a large number of dogs trotting over to her. "You're all so beautiful," she crooned, grinning as she gave each dog their worth of love.

The dogs nosed Zumi with affection.

"They seem to like you," he said laughingly.

He went into the kitchen.

"Can I get you anything?"

"I'd like some water, thanks!" Zumi called, following Kiba. "It's so cozy here," she exclaimed as several dogs rubbed up against her legs. "I love it."

"So..." She tried not to giggle, "What am I allowed to see?"

Kiba handed Zumi the glass of water, setting his own on the counter and walking over to his stereo.

"You like vintage rock?"

He didn't wait for an answer, and Cream began to play.

He plopped down on the couch and patted for Zumi to sit next to him.

"You can go anywhere but the back of the house. In fact, I doubt you'd want to go back there....it's a lot less clean." A sheepish expression crossed his face, indicating that his room must be back there.

((-pauses-....We're mashing together the Naruto world and our world, yus? So I'm okay dragging Cream into this?))

She pulled the water from the glass and into her palm, cocking her head as she listened to the music. "Nice..." A very mischievous grin peeled across her lips. "You know... I think I'll go look for the bathroom." She threw the water back into her cup and bolted for the back hallway, laughing.

You could hear door after door opening, "Nope... no... darn it!"

"Zumi! No!"

He ran after her. When he caught up to her, she had her hand on his bedroom door. He launched himself at her, knocking her to the ground.

"I told..." he said pantingly, " you...to..stay...away..."

Poor Kiba didn't realize he was on top of Zumi.

Zumi blinked and her heart started beating rapidly. Heat crawled up her neck and red dusted her cheeks. "Ne, Kiba... Y-You're, uh..." She blushed harder, grinning in spite of herself.

I mean, really... he was sexy.
