The stubborness cough idiocy cough That is Paige.

The girl raked at the leaves in the courtyard of HMA. For a week, she'd had a stupid head cold but had hidden it from the others because they'd make her take cough syrup and sleep and shit.

See, Paige is one who, first off, despises any type of medicine except Tylenol because it doesn't taste like anything. Secondly, she's a very stubborn little bitch who thinks that she can get over a cold of any sort without help, by just doing her regular daily stuff and letting her body take care of it. Lastly, and probably the most idiotic thing that she does, this girl blatantly IGNORES the fact that she's sick and needs to take care of herself or it'll get worse.

But hey, what's it matter right? As far as she's concerned. If she's, walking, talking, eating and alive, then she's perfectly fine.

Lenore swooped down onto Paige's shoulder, bearing a note.

Hey, you.

I heard you coughing and blowing your nose earlier when you thought Nena and I were asleep. Get back up here and get some rest, 'kay?

The brunette read ove rthe note before responding.

It's only allergies Zen-chuu. I'm fine.

She sent Lenore back to Zen. She knew Zen wouldn't believe her but it was worth a try.

Lenore returned minutes later.

Allergies. Really? Do you think I'm that dim?

Roy swiped the note from Zen and wrote,

Oi, Zen.

Come join me, won't ya? Gonna beat some common sense into the baka here.

After the bird had left, she turned to Paige. "You freakin baka!"

Whether it be more idiocy or even the fact of stubborness. (Hell maybe she's just fuckin' insane) The girl continued to work giving Roy a short quick answer. "I'm perfectly fine Roy."

"And here's when the president in my comes out..." She said, sighing a bit as she picked Paige up by the back of her shirt. "Lets go Missy. You're getting some sleep. And if you dare argue...you don't even want to think about what I might do." She said, her tone sharp and demanding, a tone she didn't like to use.

"Oi! I'm walking and talking and alive therefore I'm fine. You hear me? F-I-N-E! FINE!" The girl was cranky and struggled against her superior.

"Roy, let me go. I have work to do. I'm not tired and I'm not sick!"

"Blah blah blah, shut up." She said, glaring a bit. "I don't ever order any of you girls around because I care about you...and I need to make sure all of you are in their right state. So, here's one of the very few orders I'm ever going to make, Shut up, listen to what I say and get some damn rest!" She shouted, walking towards the HMA building, still carrying Paige.

"Damnit people! I'm alive! Therefore I'm fine! I'm talking, therefore I'm fine! I'm eating, therefore I'M FINE!" Paige was extremely frustrated that people wouldn't believe her.

Roy simply kept her grip on Paige and closed her eyes as she walked into the building, heading for the rooms. "I'm not listening...just so you know." She said calmly, yawning a bit.

Paige thought for a moment. A small shock wouldn't hurt. Only a tiny little one. The girl made a few handsigns and proceeded to poke Roy, giving her enough of of a shock to surprise her and cause her to let go so Paige could get the hell out of there.

Roy sighed, looking at Paige. "You really are clueless...I never walk around as me in the Site Village. You should know that from our fight." She said, frowning. "This is Odokemono's shell, come on chicka." She said, opening the door to Paige's room and plopping said girl on the bed. "House arrest. And if you leave...I'm kicking you out of the village for a while, and telling Tsunade and Gaara not to let you in their villages." She said sternly, looking down at the younger girl.

"That's so unfair! I can't leave the base. How long is that for?" The girl pouted.

Yes. She pouts and, once in a blue moon, she throws a fit. That does not please a single perosn.

Zen had just gotten her shoes on when Roy came in and made the proclamation of Paige's arrest.

"Well....now look what you've done. If you'd just come in earlier, you wouldn't be in this mess..."

Paige sat on the floor, eyes closed and thinking of a way to get around the house arrest. Loopholes were what this girl lived for.

Zen went over and locked the window, placing a seal on it that would make it so that no one but herself could open the thing. She then curled a small flame around Paige's wrist and connected it to one on her own.

"Inmate? Meet the warden."

Paige looked from her wrist to Zen's and back. "You're supposed to be on my side Zen-chuu. I'm perfectly fine. I can walk, talk, eat and I'm alive therefore I'm fine. What is there not to understand in that reasoning?"

"I AM on your side, Paige-chan. That means that I want you to be healthy."

She took in Paige's runny nose, puffy eyes, etc.

"And you," she said as she poked Paige in the shoulder, "are not healthy."

"So my nose is a little stuffed up and my eyes are a little watery. It's nothing to obsess over Zen." This is the perfect example of why she ignored these things.

People seem to over do it too much. It's a tiny head cold that the girl has ignored for the past week. The hell could possibly go wrong?

"....."

Zen watched as Paige promptly fell over, unconcious.

"THAT'S what could happen," she sighed.

I need to find Mino....

The unconscious girl proceeded to hack up a lung, figuratively speaking.

Due to her large amount of idiocy, Paige now had a wonderful fever of about 101 and to top it off with a few more things, the mother of all headaches and she couldn't breathe through her nose what-so-ever, leaving her to breathe through her mouth and cough her brains out.

Zen moved Paige over to her bed and left quietly to find Mino.

She made sure, however, to seal the door so that Paige couldn't escape if she woke up.

The girl slept per se but wasn't getting rest at all.

((It's possible! You can sleep and not be rested! Speaking of sleep, I gotta get some. Bye peoples!!))

Roy narrowed her eyes, "Baka..." She muttered, shaking her head and walking out the door. "People should learn...from my mistakes..."
