Cooky, who was currently buried under more paperwork than normal because nearly EVERYONE had somehow gotten out of handing their's in and she had to go running around like a headless chicken trying to catch up with everything, let out a frustrated growl and rubbed the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger. She was not a happy VP right now, not in the least.

She glowered at the closed window and to the scenery outside, clenching the pen in her hand with unecessary strength. "Why the hell is everyone so depressed these days?" She demanded of herself, glaring fire at the paper's on her desk. "Don't me and Roy make them happy anymore? Do they want to leave and return to their unfinished business?"

The pen in her hand promptly exploded under the pressure, sending blue ink everywhere -- including her freshly completed paperwork.

An infuriated scream echoed throughout the HMA building. "I DON'T NEED THIS SHIT RIGHT NOW, YOU STUPID FUCKING PEN!"

Nena, who just happens to be walking by --as in most scenarios-- hears the shouting of Cooky. Who wouldn't? People in other lands probably heard it and are preparing for war after the shout! She slowly enters the VP's office. "Cooky, is everything okay in here? I heard some shouting I wanted to know if anything is in need of replacing?" She asked while looking around to make sure nothing is thrown at her out of nowhere.

Her eyes are drown to where blue ink is sprayed and she approaches the splotch causiously. "Cooky?"

Kirai comes rushing down the halls and skids to a stop in front of the door, her dirk raised, "DON'T YOU DARE HURT COO--" She blinks as she sees Nena and a blue splattered Cooky.

"...Uh..."

"I think Cooky got angry and killed a Smurf." Nena said because, really, what else was there to say?

Cooky, covered in ink and still clenching at an exploded biro, blinked at the sudden company. A nervous chuckle left her lips, and she slowly hid her ink-stained hands behind her back. (Like they couldn't see the sprays all over her face, G-SUS...)

"Oh, uh... hiya guys! What's up~?"

Nena just shrugs, pretending to be casual. "Oh, you know, I was just half-way across the globe when I heard you scream and decided to stop by. Some people told me it was an early apocolypse and I almost converted to a religion revolving around a celery stick but I had a hunch it was just you." She emphasized her nonchalance. "You know, the usual. Any particular reason I might have been worshipping a vegetable right about now?"

Kirai nods at Nena's answer, still looking around at the mess, "Gee Cooky-sama...Poor smurf..."

Cooky smirks, locking her fingers together in a bad Gendo Ikari impression. "Nice sarcasm, little lady. As to why you would be worshipping a vegetable, have you checked the water you've been drinking lately? People have been playing pranks and putting LSD in the water to get people high."

She chuckles at Kirai's comment. "It wasn't a smurf; relax. Just a pen exploding from too much--" She pauses for a brief moment, before shrugging and spinning around on her chair to face out the window. "...Stress, I guess."

"Maybe you should consider a stress ball?...Or rock." Kirai suggests.

Nena gives adjuvant look to Cooky. "You doing alright, Cooky? Is everything okay?" She looks at the paperwork. "Didn't mean to sound so sarcastic it's just these days everyone is being so secretive and angsty. It's like whatever stick crawled up Sasuke's ass found it's way up everyone elses. I don't mind it, really, it's just that no one seems to be happy like they used to and I hate seeing everyone so down."

Cooky looked at Nena like she was Jesus himself reincarnated. "...D00d, we must be thinking on the same wave length. That's exactly the reason why I've been so stressed lately."

She sighed, rubbing her temple. Migraines seemed to think they were someting akin to her lover lately... damn things. "I just don't know what to do anymore... Roy's always off with the Akatsuki, everyone's gone emo, I still have to go get those papers from the Feudal Lord, we're near broke..."

Groaning, Cooky leaned back on her chair, covering her eyes with her hands. "What the hell am I supposed to do?!"

Nena placed a hand on Cooky's shoulder. "The first thing that came to mind was do what this organization does best: Molest Hidan. But I know that you're an adult and have prioties. What if we threw some giant party at the base?" She joked while trying to think real solutions to the problem that she dubbed Project ~~Make Everyone Not Sad~~ Emo.

Nikki rushed into the room, her eyes wide in surprise.

"C-cooky-sama! We just got an anonymous donation for half of our debt! I-I can't believe this! Am I reading this ri- why are you blue?" She blinked, noticing the blue covering Cooky's desk and face. "Did your pen explode?!" She quickly reached into her pocket, grinning sheepishly, "Here, you can have one of mine!"

"Why doesn't anyone believe it was a Smurf?" Nena muttered to herself. "I think it could have been a smurf!" She grumbled under her breath.

Cooky laughed at Nena's suggestion, before sending a cheesy grin her way. Sometimes the girls here could make her day just by a single word... "As much as a good molesting session sounds good right now, I think that party sounds a little more involving." She paused, then frowned, rubbing her nose once more. "But how are we supposed to convice everyone to come?"

Cooky jumps in her chair, slightly startled at Nikki's entrance. "Wh-Whoa!" She laughed, holding her hands infront of her in a plactating position. "Down, girl! Tell me again, slowly. What's happened?"

"...We could invite the Konoha ninja's to the party." Kirai pipes up, "Some of the members seem upset that they haven't seen them for so long."

She looks at Nena, "...I thought it was smurfs..." she says meekly.

Nikki grinned sheepishly once again, only blushing this time. "I said...We just got an anonymous donation for half of our debt!" Her face looked a lot brighter than it had earlier when she found out about the large debt.

She was going to hand Cooky the document, but decided against it since she was covered in ink. She reached into her other pocket, pulling out a clean cloth, "And you can use this for your, uh, blue face." She giggled, holding out both the new pen, and the cloth in her right hand.

Nena turns to Nikki. "Anonymous?" She turns to Cooky slowly. "I remember hearing through the grape-vine Kakuzu say he was going to pay us for keeping Hidan. Cooky, you don't think . . ." Nena trailed off in utter shock at the possibility.

Cooky grinned, accepting that cloth with gratitue. "Thanks, Ni-chuu." Quickly scrubbing at her hands and face, the VP's face came back into view once again. As Nikki's words sunk in, the cloth rubbing against her cheek froze. "...Wait. did you just say what I think you said?" As quick as a flash, her hand was outstretched, eyes hard. "I'd like to see that, please."

She glanced at Kirai, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "It's a good idea... in theory." She sighed, placing her chin in her hands. "However, there's been some... power... that's caused all the Konoha nins to forget their memories of the HMA girls." She waved a flippant hand at Roy's empty desk on the other side of the room. "Roy and I were supposed to figure out whats' going on, but she hasn't been here for a while."

"Pow..er? Hmm, some memory jutsu perhaps?" Kirai shrugged, "I haven't met any of them yet...Though the Akatsuki seem to remember us all."

Nikki, finally satisfied with how Cooky had cleaned the ink off of her hands, handed her the document. "I've never seen this kind of handwriting before, so I couldn't really take a guess at who it was from..." She sweatdropped, "I was too excited to see half of our debt vanish in one day."

She blinked at Kirai and Nena, "A smurf may be blue on the outside...but they're still, uh, warm-blooded. So Cooky-sama would be covered in a more purple color." She slightly covered her mouth, "But don't take my word for it! I've never seen a smurf explode!"

"Before a full-investigation is put forth I'd like to say I've only ever encountered Naruto and Sasuke in my life that I remember. By mistake I had taken a few too many of Sasuke's memories during a little fight." She admitted. "I've told Roy of this and this is me telling you. My jutsu is capable of such a feat of erasing specific memories of a high number of people but I don't have the ability nor the control to complete such a thing." She said to clear her name before convicted.

Cooky sighed, rubbing at her temples. "Memory jutsu... sounds plausible." She opened her bleary eyes, smiling at Nena. "And I know you wouldn't do it, so relax. This is something much bigger... something sinister. Something, or someone, didn't want people to remember you guys."

Cooky promptly let her eyes scan the paper. With every word that she read, they grew slightly wider. As quick as a flash, the paper was slammed down on her desk, and her gaze fell onto the treasurer. "Nikki." Her voice was hard, serious. She meant business. "Was there any kind of note that came with this? Anything at all?

Nikki, not entirely phased by Cooky's seriousness, shook her head, slightly frowning. "There wasn't a note. But they did mail this." She held out the document showing that half of the debt was paid off this evening around five o' clock.

She glanced over at Nena, giving her a reassuring smile, "I don't think anyone here would blame you for this. It just doesn't seem like anything you would do, from what I've learned about you."

Nena nodded with an elated smile at the assurance of their faith in her. Last thing she needed was to be convicted of something she didn't do. "Maybe we could get one of our own to track the chakra signature." She suggested.
